Sheldon Goldman

Writers express themselves by writing. I express myself with my art. When asked why I paint, my answer is, because that’s what I do. I love the fact that when I paint, it is all consuming; everything else is irrelevant. For me, art and painting in front of a canvas represents total freedom. I strive to create paintings which convey freshness, luminosity and depth and I love creating pieces with “wicked” light. I am also a firm believer in using whatever works and I enjoy infusing some of my realist art with impressionism when possible.
