Synnöve Seidman

Born in Toronto, Canada currently living in British Columbia. From minimal design to maximalist detail. What is constant in my art is vivid colour, dynamism and energy. Nature is my cathedral, it is where I find inspiration. My current work is driven by my interest in the restorative power of beauty and it’s effect on consciousness. My work asks questions about the nature of beauty, does the world embody beautiful ideas? I am challenging myself to observe how my interactions with technology and social media affect virtues and character. Trying to paint this exploration and awareness. Abstract landscapes, city structures and botanical elements find their way into many of my compositions.
